From the get go this thing screams fail, And for the most part it does. It's not the direction of the film as this is up to scratch, And while the actors lag severely I would not blame them. To understand why this fails I suggest you get your hands on the OST for Donnie Darko. It is quite the musical genius. Without this it would be safe to say that the movie would be not nearly as memorable. The ost is for the most part composed by a man named Michael Andrews who's most recent movie Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story is more solid than Damian Kings efforts during the 2001 Shark Island Challenge. Anyway back on track! Without the eerie piano, xylophone & organ tracks layed behind the scenes this movie falls flat on it's face. With a straight to dvd release i wasn't expecting much. Although you could assume from this review that this movie is a bucket of fail i would still recommend viewing this to decide yourself.
I give this 5/10 Mega Fonzie's.
